okay so what I would do is multiply the denominator of 3 from 2/3 by 4 to get 12. So what you do to the bottom you have to do to the top so that fraction 2/3 will turn to 8/12.


Then I would multiply the denominator of 4 from 1/4 by 3 to get also get 12. And again what you do to the bottom you have to do to the top. So that fraction will be 3/12.

Ten you add them 8/12 + 3/12 = 11/12


Answer = 11/12
