y-(2)/(3) x=-6

Add -y to both sides:

(-2)/(3) x+y+-y=-6+-y

(-2)/(3) =-y-6

Divide both sides by
(-2)/(3):

((-2)/(3)x )/((-2)/(3) ) =(-y-6)/((-2)/(3) )

\fbox{x = $(3y+18)/(2) $}
