Edward drives 1/2 mile in 1/3 hours. Which of the following is how the rate he drives?

Answer: 1/40 or 0.025 (I think...)

Step-by-step explanation: So, how I did this is I followed the formula for how to calculate mph. So, first I changed the 1/2 into 0.5 and the 1/3 into 20 mins (0.5 is the same as 1/2 of a mile, and 20 mins. is the same as 1/3 of an hour) So, with that I followed the formula to find mph which is:

- R= d/t (In other words, it means you take the miles and divide it by the time) So, I would do 0.5 / 20 to get 0.0025 or 1/40 as my final. Though, I'm not SURE If it's correct, so caution ahead.

Or 1 mile in a 2/3 hour
