Answer:

x=3

Explanation:

subtract 26 from both sides

9x+26=15x+-26

and then simplify it ( you have to subtract the numbers)

which will be = 9x=15x-18

then subtract 15x=15x-18-15x

which will equal x=3

Answer:

x = 3

Explanation:

If (9x + 26) = (15x + 8),

(15x + 8) - (9x + 26) = 0

15x + 8 - 9x - 26 = 0

6x - 18 = 0

6x = 18

So, x = 3
