Explanation:
h(t) = −5t² + 20t (Given)
We need to find: height of the ball after 3 seconds.
So, plug t = 3 in the above equation, we find:
h(3) = −5(3)² + 20(3)
->h(3) = −5(3)² + 20(3)
->h(3) = −5(9) + 60
->h(3) = −45 + 60
->h(3) = 15 feet
