I am against the death penalty because I believe that people should have a second chance in life to makes things right again. It might help to discourage others from commiting murder however some will still do it because at the time they may not be able to stop themselves. I don't think that the death penalty is acceptable the worst thing you can do is take a person's life and even though it seems unfair not to take the murderer's life for the victims but you are probably just as bad if you choose to do so. Take their freedom instead.
