Ryan estimated that the crystal rock weighed 4.5 pounds. He placed it in a scale and it weighed exactly 4.65 pounds. What's the percent of error?

well, the pounds differnce is simply 4.65 - 4.5 = 0.15.

now, if we take 4.5 as the 100%, what's 0.15 off of it in percentage?
