(b) An angle measures 71 degrees . What is the measure of its supplement?

Answer:

a) its complement would be 50 degrees. Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees, and 40 + 50 = 90.

b) It's supplement would be 109 degrees. Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees, and 109 + 71 = 180
