How do u find a equation passing through the line in a graph, I will give an example (-2,0) and (0, 5), I don’t understand how to calculate it can u please give me a easy way to do it for me , I’m in the 8th grade

You then need to find the y-intercept (where the line connects with the y-axis). To do this, you need to figure out what the y (the second number) is when the x (the first number) is 0. In this example, you can already see with the second set of coordinates that the y-intercept is 5 because the x is 0. When this is not easily shown, you can figure out the y-intercept with a table.
