Answer: 2400 cubic meters

======================================================

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming the guests are spaced out in a uniform fashion (i.e. they are spaced the same in each direction), then,

  • 1 person = 4 m^2 of floor area
  • 120 people = 120*4 = 480 m^2 of floor area

In short, 120 people occupy 480 square meters of floor area. So we'll assume that this is the floor area of the pyramidal tent.

V = volume of the pyramid

V = (1/3)*(area of the floor or base)*(height)

V = (1/3)*(480)*(15)

V = 2400 cubic meters
