Peter's Rule is "Add 2, multiply by 2". He started with six and wrote the numbers below.

6, 8, 16, 18, 36

Is his answer correct? Yes or no? And what should be the actual pattern?

Yes, he is correct, because 6 plus 2 is 8 and then 8 times 2 is 16 and 16 plus 2 is 18 and 18 times 2 is 36. Therefore the answer is yes his answer is correct because it follows the rule.

8x2=16
16+2=18
