Yes, he is correct, because 6 plus 2 is 8 and then 8 times 2 is 16 and 16 plus 2 is 18 and 18 times 2 is 36. Therefore the answer is yes his answer is correct because it follows the rule.

Peter is correct because 6+2=8
8x2=16
16+2=18
18x2=36
