mean=23

median=23

mode=22 and 24

range=6

Explanation:


mean \: = \: (sum \: of \: age \: * \: frequency)/(sum \: of \: frequency)


mean \: = \: ((20 * 5) + (22 * 11) + (24 * 11) + (26 * 5))/(5 + 11 + 11 + 5) = 23


range \: = \: larger \: age \: - \: smaller \: age


range \: = \: 26 \: - \: 20 \: = \: 6

mode = the most times an age appears = 22 and 24

median:

adding up the frequency: 5+11+11+4=31 (an odd number)


median = ( (n + 1)/(2) ) {}^(th) = ( (31 + 1)/(2) ) {}^(th) = 16 {}^(th)

to find the 16th position:

5 + 11 = 16, so the age at the 16th position is at age 22 and 24


median \: = \: (22 + 24)/(2) = 23
