Mrs Uma bought 9 boxes of crayons. Each box contained an equal number of crayons. She gave 7 crayons to each of her 43 pupils and had 5 crayons left. How many crayons were there in each box?​

There are many 34 crayons in each box.

Answer:

34 crayons per box

Explanation:

Let the total number of crayons be x.

Total crayons given = 43 x 7 = 301

Total remaining = 5

Total at beginning = 301 + 5 = 306

Crayons per box = 306/9

= 34 crayons per box
