The other two answers are incorrect:

- the cell wall has no impact on the color of a bacteria

However! the cell wall does provide some protection to the bacteria as it protects the DNA inside the bacterium from being exposed to harsh environments outside of the cell. but since this isn't an option, A is the correct answer.
