How do you solve P = C+MC, for M?

you just need to leave M alone


\begin{gathered} P=C+MC \\ \end{gathered}

so , the first C is adding so, change side to subtract


P-C=MC

and the second C is multiplying then goes to the other side to divide


(P-C)/(C)=M
