What is the molarity of a NaCl solution that becomes 0.15 M NaCl when 2.0 L is diluted to 6.5 L?

All problems where they prepare a solution with another solution are solved basically the same. we just have to remember the following equation:


C_1* V_1=C_2* V_2

The problem gives V1=2L, V2=6.5L and C2=0.15M and ask for C1. Then we just have to solve for C1


C_1=(C_2V_2)/(V_1)=(0.15M*6.5L)/(2L)=0.48M
