Step 1: Use the equation ratio between Al and AlCl3 to discover the number of moles of AlCl3 produced.

The equation is: 2Al+3Cl2 -->2AlCl3

So 2 moles of Al produces 2 moles of AlCl3.

Step 2: Transform 2 moles of AlCl3 using the following formula: mass = moles x molar mass

the molar mass of AlCl3 is:

Molar mass of Al: 26.98 g/mol

Molar mass of Cl: 35.45 g/mol

Molar mass of AlCl3: (26.98*1) + (35.45*3) = 133.34 g/mol

So:

mass = moles x molar mass

mass = 2 * 133.34 = 266.68 g

Answer: 266.68 g
