Given data;

y=x^2+8x+20

To convert it to vertex form.

The vertex of the above function is, (-4,4).

the general equation is,

y=a(x-h)^2+k

Thus, the vertex form of the quadratic equaion is,

y=(x+4)^2+4

The answer is option a.
