y =5x - 1

the slope of the line is m = 5

for parallel lines the slope remains the same

so the equation of the line that is parallel to y = 5x - 1 and passing through

(10, -1) is,

y - (-1) = m(x - 10)

put m = 5

y + 1 = 5(x - 10)

y + 1 = 5x - 50

y = 5x - 51

sot the answer is y = 5x - 51
