\sqrt[]{8}

and we can represent 8 as

2^3

then

\begin{gathered} \sqrt[]{2^3} \\ \end{gathered}

simplify

2\sqrt[]{2}

we cant simplify root of 2, then is an irrational number necause 8 is not a square square

the right option is B
