A toy trrain moves along a circular path of radius 20.0 cm. The toy train is programmed to complete the circle once and come to rest.Find: a. According to the problem, the radius of the circular trajectory is r = 20.0 cm.

Let's find the circumference using the following expression

C=2\pi r

Where pi = 3.14 and = 20..0 cm.

C=2\cdot3.14\cdot20.0\operatorname{cm}\approx126\operatorname{cm}

(a) Therefore, the toy will travel 126 centimeters in one cycle.

On the other hand, it's important to know that distance is not the same as displacement, while the first one refers to just the magnitude (distance), the second one refers to the change of position. So, if the toy completes the cycle and finishes at the same position, it means it didn't change its position, therefore, there's no displacement.

(b) Therefore, the displacement in one cycle would be zero.
