To determine what percentage a certain number, let's say A, represents from another number, B, we use the following relation to calculate it:

P=(A)/(B)*100\text{ \%}

Using this relation with the present question values, where A = 11, and B = 110, we are able to perform the following calculation:

\begin{gathered} P=(11)/(110)*100\text{ \%} \\ P=0.1*100\text{ \%} \\ \\ P=10\text{ \%} \end{gathered}

From the solution developed above, we are able to conclude that 11 represents 10% of 110.
