Each side of the euqation given correspond to each graphed lines. The left side of the equation is represented by the blue graph, while the right side is represented by the red graph.

The equation means that both sides of it are equal, so we are looking for the intercections of the red and blue graphs.

There are 3 points, (-2,-3), (2,-3) and (8.xx,3.xx). We also are looking for a solution that have negative x.

The only one of these points that have negative x is (-2,-3), so that is the answer.
