Normal male:

Genotype of parents: XhY, XhXh

Genotype of gametes: XhY, XHXh

Genotype of offsprings: XHY, XhY, XHXh, XhXh

Phenotype of offspring:

1 female with haemophilia, 1 son with haemophilia, 1 normal female, 1 normal son.

Normal female:

Genotype of parents: XhY, XhXh (could be the same punnet square)

Genotype of gametes: XHY, XhXh (A normal female cannot have a son with haemophilia)

Genotype of offspring: XHXh, XhY, XHXh, XhY

Phenotype of offspring:

2 normal son, 2 female with haemophilia.

What is the probability of the couple having a daughter with haemophilia?

with the normal male: 25% 1/4

with the normal female: 50% 1/2

What is the probability of the couple having another son with haemophilia?

with a normal male: 25% 1/4

with a normal female: 0% none
