To find the slope, we have to choose to points

\begin{gathered} \text{Slope}=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ _{} \end{gathered}

\begin{gathered} x_1=40 \\ x_2=50 \\ y_1=50 \\ y_2=100 \end{gathered}

Substitute into the formula

\begin{gathered} \text{Slope =}(100-50)/(50-40) \\ \\ \text{Slope}=(50)/(10) \\ \\ \text{Slope =5} \end{gathered}

The final answer is

Slope = 5
