We have two different gym plans here.

Plan A.

Pay $80 for a monthly pass and $5 for each visit.

80+5x

Where x represents visits.

Plan B.

Pay $15 for each visit without a monthly pass.

15x

Now, we make these equations equal to find the number of visits x

\begin{gathered} 80+5x=15x \\ 80=15x-5x \\ 10x=80 \\ x=(80)/(10) \\ x=8 \end{gathered}

Hence, after 8 visits, the cost will be the same.
