Let length be x

Area

  • LB
  • 3x

Now

  • area=2(L+B)+7
  • 3x=2(3+x)+7
  • 3x=13+2x
  • x=13

Answer:

length is 13 units

Explanation:

case 1

l×b= 7+2(l+b)

lb = 7+2l+2b

given , b= 3

so,

l×3 = 7+ 2× l + 2× 3

3l -2l = 13

l = 13
