Let's go over each of the expressions and see if they are equal to 1/8

2^(-3)=(1)/(2^3)=(1)/(8)

So A is equivalent

(-8)^1=-8

So B is not equivalent

((32)/(4))^(-1)=(1)/((32)/(4))=(4)/(32)=(1)/(8)

So C is equivalent

8^8-8^9=-117440512

So D is not equivalent

(8^8)/(8^9)=8^(8-9)=8^(-1)=(1)/(8)

So E is equivalent

undefined
