Okay
We have
slope(m)=-2/5
Point (0,-7)
For this question we use point slope form so
y โˆ’ y1 = m(x โˆ’ x1)

y=y coordinate of second point
y1=y coordinate of point one
M=slope
X=x coordinate of second point
x1=x coordinate of point one
By substituting each number to the corresponding variables we get
Y-(-7)=-2/5(x-0)
Y+7=-2/5x
Y=-2/5x-7 equation of required line!

Answer:

y + 7 = -
(2)/(5) x

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b ) a point on the line

Here m = -
(2)/(5) and (a, b ) = (0, - 7 ) , then

y - (- 7) = -
(2)/(5)(x - 0) , that is

y + 7 = -
(2)/(5) x
