Rewrite using the distributive property.
-(6x-17)=[?]x+[]​

Hello.

First, the minus sign (in this case) is the same as -1.

Now, let's multiply -1 times the terms inside the parentheses:


\mathrm{-1(6x-17)}


\mathrm{-6x+17}

Note:

When we multiply a negative number times a negative number, the product is a positive number.
