What is the effect on the graph of f(x) = 1 when it is transformed to g(x) = 1 + 17? O A. The graph of f(x) is shifted 17 units up. O B. The graph of f(x) is shifted 17 units to the left. O C. The graph of f(x) is shifted 17 units to the right O D. The graph of f(x) is shifted 17 units down.

we have that

f(x)=1 ----> is a horizontal line (y intercept is (0,1)

f(x)=1+17=18 -----> is a horizontal line (y -intercept is (0,18)

therefore

there are a translation 17 units up

the answer is the option A
