The question asked to for the value of the expression below

\begin{gathered} \frac{w^2-\sqrt[]{3y+x}}{w+(y-1)} \\ \text{where,} \\ y=6,w=-9,x=7 \end{gathered}

Concept: Substitute the values in the formula given

\begin{gathered} \frac{w^2-\sqrt[]{3y+x}}{w+(y-1)} \\ \frac{(-9)^2-\sqrt[]{3(6)+7}}{-9+6-1} \\ =\frac{81-\sqrt[]{18+7}}{-4} \\ =\frac{81-\sqrt[]{25}}{-4} \\ =(81-5)/(-4) \\ =(76)/(-4) \\ =-19 \end{gathered}

Hence,

The final answer = -19
