use y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

look at the graph and find the numbers to plug in

calculate the slope by finding two points the line goes through

then use rise over run so y/x so 1/5 is the slope

-4 is the y-intercept then plug those in to get the equation of the line
