Please explain to me how to do the equations for (a) and (b) below. Then I am interested in doing the (c) and (d) equations by myself. From the information given, find the quadrant in which the terminal point determined by t lies. Input I, II, III, or IV.(a) sin(t)<0 and cos(t)<0 , quadrant__________ ;(b) sin(t)>0 and cos(t)<0 , quadrant__________ ;

To answer this question we will use the following diagram as reference:

The above diagram helps us remember the sign of the cosine and sine functions depending on the quadrant.

If sin(t)<0 and cos(t)<0 then t is in quadrant III.

If sin(t)>0 and cos(t)<0 then t is in quadrant II.

Answer:

(a) III.

(b) II.
