one baseball team played 24 games throughout their entire season if this baseball team won 12 of those games what percentage did they win

To find the percentage of games won we use a rule of three:


\begin{gathered} 24\rightarrow100 \\ 12\rightarrow x \end{gathered}

Then we have:


x=(12\cdot100)/(24)=50

Therefore they won 50% of the games.
