Answer: 28 units^2
Step by Step:
First get the area of the triangle on the left:
A = 1/2 bh
A = 4 x 2/2
A = 4
Now find the area of the rectangle:
A = lw
A = 5 x 4
A = 20
And if you split it at the right, you get another triangle:
A = 1/2 bh
A = 4 x 2/2
A = 4

Now you add everything together:

4+4+20=
A = 28 units^2

Sorry if it’s wrong btw. This is what I know and i got 100 on my test about it.
