d=(35)/(9)

we have a equation with 1 unknow value( d), so to find this we need to isolate d


35=3d+6d

Step 1

add like terms


\begin{gathered} 35=3d+6d \\ 35=9d \end{gathered}

Step 2

Division property of equality states that when we divide both sides of an equation by the same non-zero number, the two sides remain equal,

hence , divide both sides by 9


\begin{gathered} 35=9d \\ (35)/(9)=(9d)/(9) \\ (35)/(9)=d \end{gathered}

therefore, the value for d is


d=(35)/(9)
