Hence:

$\begin{gathered} 16\text{ + 2x = 10 + 8x} \\ \operatorname{Re}-\text{arranging} \\ 6\text{ = 6x} \\ x\text{ = 1} \end{gathered}$

Then to obtain BC, we simply substitute:
