To train for a race, Michele jogged6 miles each day before the last two daysbefore the race. She jogged 10 mileseach of those two days. Write anexpression to represent the number ofmiles that Michele jogged in preparationfor the race. Let d represent the numberof days.

6 (d-2)+20

6 miles each day (except for the last 2 days)

10 miles the last 2 days. (10 miles x 2 days = 20 miles)

So the expression is:

6 (d-2) + 10(2)

6 (d-2)+20

Where d is the number of days
