Given the equation :

4x-3y=9

we need to write the given equation in slope - intercept form

The general slope intercept form is :

y=m\cdot x+b

So, we need to convert the 4x - 3y = 9 to the previous form

So, solve the given equation for y ( make y alone on the left side )

So,

4x-3y=9

Subtract (4x) from both sides

\begin{gathered} 4x-3y-4x=9-4x \\ \\ -3y=-4x+9 \end{gathered}

Divide all terms by -3

\begin{gathered} (-3y)/(-3)=(-4x)/(-3)+(9)/(-3) \\ \\ y=(4)/(3)x-3 \end{gathered}

So, the slope will be the coefficient of x = 4/3

Slope = 4/3
