The radius of circle is r = 8 inches.

The formula for the area of circle is,

A=\pi(r)^2

Determine the area of the sign.

\begin{gathered} A=\pi(8)^2 \\ =(22)/(7)\cdot64 \\ =201.1428 \\ \approx201.1 \end{gathered}

So area of the sign is 201.1 inch square.
