The given division is

(9x^3+27x^2+11x+1)/(3x+1)

We can do the division as follows

x3 x2 x

9 27 11 1 |3x + 1|

-9 -3 3x2 + 8x + 1

0 24

-24 -8

0 3 1

-3 -1

0 0

As you can observe, the quotient is

3x^2+8x+1
