The presence of trees allows the soil the retention of water, presence of biodiversity, and to retain a big diversity of nutrients that contribute to erosive factors such as the mechanical actions of wind of water, direct solar radiation among others do not impact directly on it, protecting it and minimizing its consequences. Therefore, the removal of trees makes a big impact on the quality of the soil and leads to more rapid and intense erosion by many different factors like those mentioned above.
