Distance = 6.4

To find distance between two points, you will find change in x squared and add too the change in y squared. Then, you will find the square root of the answer.

Point (-2,-3) and (3,1)

\begin{gathered} \Delta y\text{ = 1-(-3) = 1+ 3 = 4} \\ \Delta x\text{ = 3-(-2) = 3+2 = 5} \\ \text{Distance = }\sqrt{(\Delta y)^2\text{+}}\text{ (}\Delta x)^2 \\ =\text{ }\sqrt{4^2+5^2\text{ = }√(16+25)} \\ =\text{ }√(41) \end{gathered}

Distance = square root of 41 = 6.4
