∠1 ∠3 = 130º

1) Gathering the data, accordingly to what's been told we can write:

∠1 + ∠50º = 180º Definition of two supplementary angles

∠50 +∠3 = 180º

2) Then we can evaluate:

∠1 + ∠50º = 180º Subtract ∠50º from both sides

∠1 = 180º -50º

∠1 = 130º

∠50 +∠3 = 180º

∠3 = 180º-50º

∠3 = 130º

3) Hence ∠1 ∠3 = 130º because the definition of supplementary angles is the same.
