Answer:

C

Explanation:

I used desmos to graph it out and then visualize it. However, you can square root 16 for the radius.

Formula for circles on a graph.

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

To find the radius, square root the value of the right side of the equation.

To find the x value of the center, use the negative version of the value in
(x-h)^2.

Given:

(x-5)^2+y^2=16

General equation of line is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

So the radius and center of circle is:

\begin{gathered} (h,k)=\text{ Point of circle} \\ r=\text{radius} \end{gathered}

Compare the general equation so:

\begin{gathered} (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2 \\ (x-5)^2+y^2=16 \\ (x-5)^2+y^2=(4)^2 \\ so \\ h=5 \\ k=0 \\ r=4 \end{gathered}

so center of circle is:

\begin{gathered} (h,k)=(5,0) \\ \text{radius(r) }=4 \end{gathered}
