first, we will find the slope

m=(-5-(-3))/(-1-0)=(-5+3)/(-1)=(-2)/(-1)=2

so, the slope is m = 2

now the equation of the line is

\begin{gathered} y-(-3)=m(x-0) \\ y+3=2x \\ y=2x-3 \end{gathered}

so, the equation of the line is y = 2x -3
