Complementary angles are angles that add up to give 90 degrees.

So, angle a and b are complementary angles.

Supplementary angles are angles that add up to give 180 degrees.

As shown in the figure above, the sum of the measure of angle r and angle s will be equal to 180 degrees.

So, angle r and angle s are supplementary angles.
