SOLUTION:

Case: Ratio (Division of values)

Given: A table containing the values of x with corresponding values of y.

Required: To find the ratio of y to x. in the form of division i.e y divided by x

Method: We divide the y values in each row with their corresponding x values.

For the first column

\begin{gathered} (y)/(x)\Rightarrow(20)/(5) \\ \text{This reduces to }(4)/(1) \end{gathered}

For the second column

(y)/(x)\Rightarrow(24)/(6)=\text{ }(4)/(1)

The third column has already been done.

For the fourth column

(y)/(x)\Rightarrow(32)/(8)=\text{ }(4)/(1)

Final answer:

The ratio for all the cases is 4/1
